If you've ever owned an old car, you probably learned a trick or two in order to get it to start up if the first turn of the key didn't work for whatever reason. Pumping the gas pedal a couple times and trying to turn the key again, for example. This tip is similar to that.
If you've clicked on the "Scenarios" button and no results come back, or you click on "Analysis" only to see the spinner get stuck at 2% indefinitely, this troubleshooting tip is for you!
First, go back to the "Parameters" screen
Make a small, innocuous change to one of your existing test inputs.
Once you save your edit and go to a new screen, the Hexawise test generation algorithm will calculate a new set of scenarios and new Analysis charts.
Said another way, unless you make a change to one of your test inputs, each time you select "Scenarios" or "Analysis," the Hexawise test generation algorithm will try to re-use the last calculation it made. Why? The algorithm is trying to serve you the results you need as quickly as it can; it knows you're busy and it is doing its best to help.
When a prior calculation effort encountered a problem, this approach of trying to reuse previous results will often result in the same exact issue repeating itself unless you make small change to one of your test inputs and force the Hexawise test generation algorithm to calculate a new set of results.
